Project Objectives

• To introduce children and participants of all ages to a unique form of artistic expression – creating images using clay on canvas.
• To promote hands-on creativity and sensory learning through a fun, interactive medium.
• To break conventional notions of art being limited to paper and paint.
• To offer an inclusive and engaging recreational experience that fosters imagination and experimentation.
• To build community engagement through a collaborative, age-inclusive event.

Project Summary

Clay on Canvas Project is a creative, hands-on workshop where participants explore a new dimension of art by crafting fun and imaginative visuals using clay on canvas. Individuals of all ages can participate in this workshop. There is no age limit. 

For a nominal fee, 190 participants in 9 workshops received: Free entry to Play Land, A special gift, and Free canvas and clay materials. Unlike traditional drawing methods, this workshop encourages participants to think differently by combining sculpting and painting techniques on a canvas surface. It’s designed not only as a creative outlet but also as a playful learning experience.
